NEW VIEW OF LIFE: Jude Redmond, 39, at the launch of his book, Bounce
A survivor tells his story
A MAN who threw himself off a 90ft cliff and survived has published a book telling his story.
Jude Redmond, 39, attempted suicide in Rottingdean in February last year and twice almost died during his 12-week stay in hospital.
His book, Bounce, details his memories of the event, including the moment he woke up nearly two months later, and how his attitude to life has been transformed. It is on sale in Brighton bookshops including City Books, Wax Factor and Waterstones.
Mr. Redmond, from Brighton, who contracted MRSA while in hospital said: “To pay for the publishing I had the idea of selling shares in the book and raised £1,500.”
About 40 people attended the book launch.
