BUY SHARES IN A BOOK

A UNIQUE scheme to sell shares in a new book is up and running.
Jude Redmond, 39, wrote the book after a failed suicide attempt. He threw himself off a 90ft cliff at Rottingdean, Brighton, but survived.
He almost died twice in hospital and consultants described him as “lottery-win lucky” not to have suffered brain damage in the fall.
He wrote a book about the experience, entitled Bounce: An Unreliable Memoir Of A Journey To Death And Back.
Jude, from Kemp Town, Brighton, came up with the idea of selling 200 shares in the book at £15 each to pay for a first print run and generate interest.
